Meetings are on the first Saturday of each month following the Knox County Horse Park meeting that begins with a potluck at 6:30 pm. Starting with the April meeting, they will be held at the Horse Park on Thayer Road (south of Mount Vernon, with the site across the road from the yard waste facility, also known as the old landfill). Meetings are "rain or shine," thanks to the shelter house and its wood stove. The KCHP is an associate member of our chapter. Note: By Using our website (www.ohcknox.gallifrey.org/) - you are agreeing to our terms and conditions for its use (Terms & Conditions) Please note this applies only to the subdomain ohcknox, the website for the Knox County Chapter of OHC. Updated 07.03.2009 IMPORTANT NOTICE: The meeting originally scheduled for July 4 has been MOVED TO JULY 11, following the KCHP meeting that evening. |

These home made fly spray recipes are gathered from around the web. Please research and use your own judgment and always check with your vet when in doubt.
Special note: Whenever a fly spray recipe calls for citronella, you should use 100 percent pure citronella oil. It is a plant based product. You should not use citronella oil that is sold for an outdoor torch. That type of oil is petroleum based with a citronella smell. RECIPES
